Life is unpredictable. No one can tell what will happen in the next moment and how we will react to it. It is not even possible to pre-plan it. But if you are in a difficult situation and your loved one leaves you at a time when you need it the most, then life does not last without making you strong.

This is the case with ordinary people. But such a situation makes the players really strong. Players are accustomed to physical injuries when they are already playing on the ground, and they also know how to handle mental stress. Therefore, the players have the skill of how to present the game by controlling their emotions. Players don’t let their emotions get in the way of their game and keep moving forward. This is really admirable. The best example of this is Rishabh Pant.

When Rishabh Pant’s father had passed away, he left the field and went to his funeral, but when he arrived, he did not feel sad and immediately recovered and appeared on the field with the bat.

Mr. Devendra Sharma, the assistant coach of Rishabh Pant has shared an incident when Pant has lost his father he was dealing with a tragic loss. He gathered all his courage to play in IPL and handle the team which was in trouble to score.

It needs extra strength and maturity to behave like a rock and act like a lion. In 2017 Pant’s father got a cardiac attack in sleep at Roorkee. So, Pant has to rush to his hometown to perform all the rituals of the funeral. Just two days later, Pant came back and score a half-century in IPL for Delhi Capitals.

Pant had shared an emotional post in the memory of his father on Instagram writing as-

“He loved me for who I was and accepted me for who I was striving to become. Dads are strong for a reason. Their strength gives us a sense of protection. Now that you are in heaven dad, I know you will continue to protect me. Thanks for being my dad. I will always love and miss you until we meet again.”

Last year, coach Pant Mr. Tarak Sinha detected cancer and after battling the disease, he passed away.

Pant was shattered when he heard this news and expressed his feeling by saying, “It was like losing my father all over again.”

Mr. Devendra recalled this when he shared this news with Pant and he got very disturbed.

Regarding this, Mr. Devendra said that “When news of Ustaad Ji being diagnosed with cancer first came, he was very disturbed. We even sent sir’s reports to him when he was in England. The doctor told Rishabh that it was best that sir get treated in Delhi or Jaipur. He was shattered when sir died; we all thought sir would fight it out. But Pant is mentally strong – even when his father died, he came back two days after the cremation to play an IPL game and scored runs.”

A true player never loses on the field. He has to put aside the troubles in his personal life. At the same time, being grateful and maintaining respect for the meat that taught you the basics of cricket is a sign of a better man than what Rishabh Pant showed.

There is no doubt that Pant will get the captaincy pad in the future because of this stress managing ability. He has so much mental stability that he does not allow any emotion to come in front of his goal so the people around him can remain eternal without worrying about him. It is also very important that he gets out of everything slowly without taking too much time. After Dravid’s appointment as the coach of the Indian cricket team, Rishabh Pant recovered even better and once again closed all the sadness in the corner of his mind and focused on the game and now Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid are praising him.
