The head coach of the premier league Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel has recently opened up on his stance on signing the ex-arsenal club captain and the star footballer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang especially for the attacking management to be properly taken care of inside the team. During a press conference while he was asked about Aubameyang, he jokingly said,

“I would be interested in 79 goals actually.”

He further added on to it saying,

“We will not comment further there are lot of names out there, it sometimes due to facts we discuss a lot of names and sometimes its pure speculation, we will not get involved”

Since recent times, Tuchel has been very much vocal about the need of a few attacking players inside his team and in doing that he found Aubameyang as the perfect match despite of his previous stats of his 4 goals out of 10 games and several other injuries. At some point the Chelsea’s coach even felt disappointed. But looking at some of his recent performances, he’s made a U-turn and in talks to retain the player back then going to Barcelona.  In supporting the matter, Todd Boehly, who is also the owner of the Chelsea team has also played an important role in getting some of the other players which includes the likes of Gabriel Slonina who played formerly for the Chicago Fire whereas Carney Chukwuemeka who previously belonged to the team Aston Villa.

But when it comes to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, his talks with the Chelsea team’s stakeholders are still open and the bids are yet to be closed. The news is based on the reports published by the football journalist Fabrizio Romano.

But the question still remains unanswered, why do Chelsea’s need the services of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang so much?

It is simply due to the performance of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang displayed against the Chelsea’s in the 14th Emirates FA Cup of 2019/20. He was declared the player of that particular season scoring 29 goals and with 74 percent of the vote cast.

The second the most important reason that Thomas Tuchel and his club are trying their best vouching for Aubameyang, is also because their team lack the experience of players like Audainside their team and which could also add value to its younger players like Armando Broja who was recently included in the squad.
