Robin Uthappa, the senior cricketer of the Indian national cricket team has come in support of his teammate, Virat Kohli, and has lashed out all the so-called critics outside asking them to Virat Kohli alone and let him play his cricket.
He said many more things coming in full support of Virat Kohli while speaking at the Sharechat’s Chat Audio Room session. Robin said,
“When he (Virat Kohli) was scoring runs, when he was hitting hundred after hundred, nobody said he should play like this or that. Now, I don’t think we have any right to tell him how to play. He has scored 70 hundreds thanks to his own abilities and he will score another 30 or 35 also on his own abilities,”
He further added,
“We need to just leave him alone and let him play cricket. He knows what works best for him and I believe once he acknowledges his problem, he will be able to sort it out on his own. All we need to do is give him space to be himself,”
Robin Uthappa, is well aware of the consequences a cricketer goes through his lean phase which he himself has gone through in the past. But recovering slowly with it he managed somehow to be the part of the IPL franchise, “Chennai Super Kings”.
Coming back to Robin Uthappa and Virat Kohli topic, Uthappa was seen fully supporting the senior cricket and very sounded like it was his own battle. He concluded with his words by just saying to “Allow Virat Kohli to Play peacefully without bringing him in the spot of questionnaire.
“He is a match-winner, one of the proven match-winners and he is the best in the world. We have no right and authority or no ground to stand on and question his ability to win matches or question his position in our team,”
