In the opening day of pink ball match at Adelaide, the left handed batsman of the Australian team has picked out England’s length as the major difference. Warner felt that the English team wasn’t able to bowl enough and take wickets which eventually, panned out the victory for the Australian team. The hosting team was able to score 221 with 2 wickets lost whereas David Warner scored 95 with injured ribs.

In the match Start Broad was able to bowl full length round the wicket which no wonder was indeed very troublesome for Warner, but unlucky for Broad as he wasn’t able to fetch Warner’s wicket.

Warner Said in an Interview that the main reason behind England not getting enough wickets was poor line and length in the bowling which of course was not making any difference for the English team. He added saying that he had to bat outside the crease and Marnus managed to bowl at a good length. We made sure that the ball should hit the stumps; it is something that they leant at Gaaba, where the ball bounces more than it usually does. We had to make minor adjustments and to negate over.

Warner was left amused by the English team that used as their best ploy. Warner being a smart player was aware what was happening when Ben stokes kept banging shorter length balls with six fielders on the leg side. Currently, Warner is going through a rib injury.

Warner also said that it was a tactic that the English team tried to impose or put through us and he had no idea why are they doing so but for us we had to play each and every ball based on the merits. He added saying that they agree it is a shorter square, but it’s really very significant to stick to a game plan and sticking to it, there’s no other choice than to back you. They English team have also been seen mixing up on the field with placement of field differently and based on your own perspective one needs to adapt and play.

Warner also said that he was almost ruled out from the test series but he somehow managed to break in with the help of pain killers and self belief.

Warner also said that he was almost near to not to play in the tournament, but until unless I don’t have a leg, I will be walking on the field, he also added, that he probably displayed the same attitude last year, the same thing about not missing a match for your country. If I can go out in the park to walk, then definitely I will do whatever I am supposed to.

This clearly indicated the level of commitment Warner has with himself and the dedication for the country.

Even though Warner was very close to his century, but he was happy with the ball that he left and felt that he had a greater space and right zone.
