Sachin mainly praised the presentation of Kohli’s game and said that a whole upcoming generation will be inspired by Kohli. During the conversation with BCCI dot TV, Sachin Tendulkar said,
“What a wonderful achievement. I remember the first time I heard about you when we were in Australia in 2007-08.”
Further, he said,
‘You guys were playing in the Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia and there were some players in the team who were talking about you, it takes good batting to see this player’s performance.’
“After that, we played for India together, although it didn’t last long from the time we spent together, it was clear that you were willing to learn things,” he said. You keep working on your game and keep getting better.”
