Ups and downs are a part of life that everyone has to go through at some point or the other. For some, this time will be full of joy and happiness and for some, it can be the most difficult moment of life. One cannot blame for what is happening and what is not because time has stored high and low for every living being on earth and the only way it has been left. Here in this article, we’ll talk about something similar and see how life isn’t always as bad as we think.

Everyone would know about Hardik Pandya, whose name now at least does not need any introduction. But it was not so for the cricketer if we look at his past. So here we will focus on the three turning points of Hardik Pandya’s career that changed his career and rising from ashes becoming the captain in 8 years.

The real story of Hardik Pandya starts in the year 2015 when he first made his IPL debut in 2015 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. This was the first time the all-rounder was seen on TV by the whole world. And why not, because during the tournament the cricketer played an innings that grabbed the most attention. In a match during the same 2 years of the IPL tournament, in one of the matches he scored 16 runs in 6 balls, which was enough to attract enough eyeballs towards him, especially the other franchisees. What then, the cricketer’s career began to take a toll to rise and at one point was even referred to the great legendary cricketer and the 1983 world cup winner ‘Kapil Dev’.

Carried away by his best all-rounder capabilities, the Mumbai Indians franchise caught hold of him so hard that he began to play for them for approx. three years. This indeed was the best decision ever made by the Mumbai Indians by getting Hardik Pandya on board.Till the time Hardik was with the MI team, he proved his mettle every time and playing a huge role in Mumbai Indians success.

But as mentioned above, life is about ‘Ups and downs’, a similar thing was awaiting the leading cricketer. The incident that we recall comes from the 2018 Asia Cup series, in a match against Pakistan, where while enjoying every single moment of career, unaware of the coming situation, Hardik faced a huge blow. The blow came in form of an injury in his lower back portion, which eventually proved out to be a big halt in the cricketer’s career. The injury was so serious that Hardik wasn’t even able to stand on his feet and was eventually taken back to pavilion with four additional arms through a stretcher. Surely, it could have been the worst nightmare for the player with many unwanted thought back then.

It took more than 2 years for the cricketer to make a comeback with hurdles one after the other. At one point, it was also seen as the end of his career due to constantly being surrounded by injuries and so on.

But after two long years of waiting, there came a time when the time started began to work for the cricketer again. Although, there were still speculation and doubts of his comeback but when time is working in favour then why one should worry about the rest.

Long story short, Hardik Pandya, didn’t only made a comeback but a made stronger one becoming the captain of new debutant franchise, Gujarat Titans and leading it to the victory in its debut.

So, you from highs and lows, how the struggle has been for the player and how he finally managed to make comeback. Currently, Hardik Pandya has been named to be the captain of the upcoming T20I Ireland series starting from June 26th till June 28th.
