All-rounder Hardik Pandya will be ruled out of the Ranji Trophy, which starts on February 10. According to the news, Ganguly wanted the players playing internationally to play domestic cricket as well but Pandya was not paying heed to Ganguly’s words and has decided not to play for domestic cricket for the time being. Hardik, who has declared himself fit for IPL 2022, will be ruled out of Ranji Trophy.
On Monday, Kedar Deodhar was made the captain of the Baroda team whereas Vishnu Solanki has been named as the deputy or vice captain of the Ranji Team. Ahead of the first leg of the tournament the cricket association (Baroda) has announced a 20 Men team. However, Hardik’s name is missing from the team’s list; However, Hardik’s brother Krunal Pandya has been included in the team.
The player Hardik has been making himself unavailable for national selection since the T20 World Cup due to multiple injuries. The cricketer has not played red-ball cricket since December 2018 and has often admitted that injuries have affected his chances in the longest format of the game and for not bowling during India’s disappointing T20 World Cup campaign has received a lot of criticism.

“Ranji Trophy 2022- Hardik Pandya not part of Baroda’s Ranji squad: “Hardik was injured and a break was given to him to completely recover, so that he can continue to serve Indian cricket for a long period of time. I believe I will see him play some Ranji Trophy to start with. I expect him to bowl a lot more overs and his body will get stronger“

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya will lead the team Ahmedabad franchise CVC Capital, which will have Gary Kirsten and Ashish Nehra as coaches.
