Seeing the strong performance of women players in the women’s world cup, now everyone is discus about them. The Indian women’s cricket team has also made a difference by presenting the best game. Attempts are now on for India to reach the semi-finals only once. For that, India is expected to play a better game.

England, the defending champions, have won the half battle of Women’s World Cup 2022 in New Zealand. With this victory, the team of England has moved closer to the semi-finals and the strength of the West Indies has increased.

All eyes are now on the England team. There is a very natural reason for this. That is, England defeated Pakistan by 9 wickets in the match (England Women vs Pakistan Women) on Thursday. After this big victory, England’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals have increased. At present, the challenge of West Indies (West Indies Women), which is at number three in the points table, is under threat.

The entire Pakistan team was all out for just 105 runs in the match against England. Pakistan could not bat in the entire 50 overs in this match. The batsman from Pakistan batted only 41.3 overs. Eight members of the Pakistan team also failed to score double figures.

England completed the 106-run target in just 19.2 overs and took 1 wicket. After this victory, Daniel Watt scored an unbeaten 76 runs. Watts hit 11 fours off 68 balls. Captain Knight also hit an unbeaten 24 off 36 balls. The duo put on 87 for the second wicket to give England the victory. Diana Beg was the lone wicket-taker from Pakistan.

Team England following the brilliant form

England has 6 points with this victory. After losing the first three matches of this World Cup, the world champion team has made a strong comeback and has now jumped to the fourth position. Team India also has 6 points after 6 matches. However, due to the high net run rate of England, the team is now fourth and Team India is fifth.

The match between West Indies vs South Africa was canceled due to rain. So both teams got one point each. All the matches in the West Indies series have ended and they have 7 points after 7 matches. India and England each have 6 points with one match remaining. England’s last match is against Bangladesh and India’s last match is against South Africa. If India and England win their last match, both the teams will have 8 points each and both the teams will qualify for the semi-finals. However, the challenge of the West Indies team will come to an end.

From this current scenario, it can be clear that the team of England is following a brilliant form consistently. SO, let’s keep your finger crossed for the best may win the finals.
