Yesterday, India marked their second victory against West Indies in the 5-match T20I series after getting a defeat in the second T20I match. It was a good comeback from the Indian side. To anyone, the credit goes for this victory is the star performer, Suryakumar Yadav, who was declared to be the man of the match as he made knocked of 76 runs off 44 balls, whereas on the other end, Rishabh Pant, scored 33 runs without being not out, playing an important inning for this team once again.
Now his remarkable innings that consistent since long has led him to almost surpass the world’s best batsman from Pakistan, Babar Azam, who is currently topping the ICC charts with 818 in the T20 format, with 892 ICC rating points in the ODI format, whereas with 879 ICC rating points in the test format.
But at least from the shortest format, things are probably going to change. Why we say so, it is primarily because of the consistent innings Surykumar has been showcasing and because of that is sitting right behind Babar Azam i.e., 4th place with 816 ICC rating points whereas Babar Azam with 818 ICC rating points in the ICC rankings.
Talking of other Indian players in the list, Ishan Kishan with 626 ICC rating points sits on the 14th place whereas pathetically, once the player with no less than being the first, Virat Kohli is sadly sitting on the 28th spot in the T20 ICC rankings.
But when speaking of the ODI’s, Virat Kohli still remains in 5th position with 767 ICC rating points. Nobody knows what is upto Virat Kohli and his downfall but we wish to regain his strength and stamina back again, topping the charts as never before.
