It has been quite a war of words between India’s wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant and former Miss Diva Universe 2015 and Miss Universe 2015 pageant Urvashi Rautela. Both Rishabh and Urvashi have been involved in toxic Instagram stories in each other’s direction ever since the Bollywood actress claimed that Rishabh was waiting for hours in the hotel lobby.
In the latest edition of the social media exchange, it was Urvashi that took a dig at Rishabh as she posted, “Chotu Bhaiyaa should play bat ball. Main koyi Munni nahi hoon badnaam hone with young kiddo darlings tere liye liye @Rakshabandhan Mubarak ho #RPChtobhaiyaa #Cougarhunter #Donttakeadvantageofsilentgirl.”
The reaction from Urvashi came during the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan as she taunted the Indian player. She took a dig at Rishabh by claiming him to be a younger brother and should be more focused on playing with a bat and ball rather than looking into other matters.
Earlier Rishabh posted in the wake of Urvashi’s claim of Rishabh waiting hours in the hotel lobby, he wrote on his Instagram story, “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them “merapichachorhoBehen #Jhutkibhilimithotihai.”
The Indian wicketkeeper batter was in hot water with the B-Town star but has found life simple on the pitch as he helped India win the t20 series against West Indies by 4-1. Rishabh’s exploits also saw him promoted to the captaincy role in June when India were missing some of the big names in the team. The 24-year-old led India to a 2-2 series stalemate after the final T20 in Bangalore was washed out. The Delhi Capitals captain was also promoted to the opener’s role while KL Rahul was missing from the Indian team.
While the matters with Urvashi look to have been settled, it is reported Rishabh has blocked the Bollywood star from his Instagram handle. The versatile player can next be seen in action against Pakistan during the Asia Cup on August 28 in Dubai. Rishabh is not part of the Indian team that will play Zimbabwe in the three-match ODI series that starts on August 18 and will instead focus on the Asia Cup.
