People Have A Lot To Say On TV – Virat Kohli Hits Back At His Critics

During the post-match press meet yesterday Virat Kohli was asked varied numbers of questions and he answered most of them freely. Some of these questions were regarding his recent form and the criticism he was getting.

Indian team runs machine ViratKohli had been not among the runs before Asia Cup 2022. It had been almost 1000 days for Kohli to score a hundred in the international arena in any format of the game.

Kohli had played decently in 3 matches of the Asia Cup emerging as India’s leading run-scorer. Kohli attended the first post-match press meet last night after stepping down as Test team captain at beginning of this year.

Answering journalist Vimal Kumar’s question Virat Kohli answered that M S Dhoni was only a player to massage him on leaving Test captaincy.

Revealing on bond he used to share with his teammates Kohli added. ” If I have to say or suggest something to somebody, I prefer to reach out to them individually rather than giving your suggestions in front of the world.

Some time ago Sunil Gavaskar had stated Virat Kohli’s poor form that if he gets 20 minutes with ViratKohli, then he can probably help something. Sunil Gavaskar said about Virat Kohli’s form, ‘If I get 20 minutes with him (ViratKohli), then maybe I can tell him what he should do. Maybe I can help him, it will benefit on this I can’t say anything but I will talk about the problem I am facing with the off-stump line.

In the context of this statement, ViratKohli did not take anyone’s name, but he was probably referring to the great batsman Sunil Gavaskar. ViratKohli said, ‘I have been playing for 14 years and it does not happen like this. My job is to work hard on my game and I always want to do that for the team and will continue to do so.
