Mohammad Hafeez, a big name in the Pakistan Cricket Team who declared his retirement from international cricket. Mohammad Hafeez is a versatile batsman and one of the attacking bowlers on the team. He had presented extremely fantastic games with his intelligent batting style and aggressive shots in the match.
The 41-years old player represented his nation 392 times internationally, which includes 12,789 runs, and gained 253 wickets.
The all-rounder cricketer Mohammad Hafeez has played 55 test matches, 218 One Day Internationals, and 119 T20 matches. He has performed very well in all formats of cricket.
He announced his retirement through social media Twitter saying that, he is signing off from cricket with pride and satisfaction. He thanked everyone including his teammates, coaches, support staff, PCB, and his family for their contribution and understanding throughout the whole journey.
Further, he added that Cricket was a learning school for him where he gets a lot of opportunities to explore numerous places and see their culture.
“I am extremely fortunate, lucky, and proud to have been considered worthy of donning the national kit with Pakistan emblem for 18 years. My country and the team have always been at my forefront and therefore, every time I stepped onto the field, I tried to raise their profile and image by playing hard and tough but within the rich traditions of the spirit of cricket.” He wrote. He said, it’s a lifelong memorable journey and he will cherish those on every day of his life He also thanked his fans and supporters who were there at the ups and downs that he faced in his entire cricket career.
