It was a great occasion when we all have witnessed the game of Kohli in the third test mathc against South Africa at Cape Town as his fans missed him in the earlier test matches.
In this match, on the second day of the match, SA was suffering a middle-order collapse. Temba Bavuma and Keegan Petersen were doing a phenomenal job against India in partnership with scoring runs on the crease. To lead the first inning was the only goal of the team in opposition. But Mohammed Shami picked two wickets in just three balls before Bumrah dismissed Marco Jansen. Kohli took the wicket of Bavuma first and after his dismissal from the game wicketkeeper-batsman, Kyle Verreynne edged one to Rishabh Pant. At that moment India bounced backed in the game and Kohli urged to the dugout to cheer the players on the crease and shouted “Keep clapping boys” and the players did that. Everyone clapped in synchronization.
It was not the first time the dugout team acted like this. In 2018/19, it was acted by the Saurashtra team. Virat always celebrates the wicket and victory of the team. He always seeks an opportunity to praise and always asks for support or cheer from the team.
It became a pressure-releasing atmosphere on the ground. It was an amazing way of celebrating a wicket.
