The England team player, Jason Roy who is also the 2021 world cup star performer for his team, despite his failure from the past six games, gets a powerful backing from the Veteran Former England opener batsman, Kevin Pietersen. Kevin says, that he’s fed up of tired with the country (England) writing off such a talented cricketer (Jason Roy) in such a young age and also have urge the people to him a break and believe that he can turn around things citing his previous record. Look at what he said,

“Jason is 32 years of age and what I’m sick and tired of in this country is writing people off at such a young age. Jason is a World Cup winner; he’s done an unbelievable job for Eoin Morgan.”

He added,

“With smacking the ball and being a risk-taker, you are going to fail and when you start failing, failing can happen for a long time. Leave Roy. Give him the opportunity through The Hundred and T20s and back him.”

The veteran former player also cited the reason behind the failure of such a good player is the ability to take risks and when it goes on the chances of failing increases more and more.

Jason Roy is most likely to retain his place for the upcoming Pakistan Series ans through his interview with Sky sports he suggested Rob Key who is the star performer for the England team for long and said if he’s listening, he (Jason Roy) is the best player and has been England’s best player.

“If Rob Key is listening, he is England’s best player and he has been England’s best player for a number of years. What they should be saying is ‘back your best players’. If they replace him and put a new guy in for seven T20s in Pakistan and he fails, people start saying ‘we need Roy for the World Cup,”

The seven-match T20I series against Pakistan will commence from September 20th and will last till 30th September.
