BCCI’s newly appointed president, Roger Binny, has all praises for the former captain of the Indian team, who is none other than, Virat Kohli. Roger expressed the innings by Virat Kohli against arch rivals to be a dream come true moment and treat for the viewers he said. He expressed himself at the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) on Friday during his felicitation ceremony. He said,
“It was like dream for me. Couldn’t realize the way the ball was being hit in the park by Kohli. It was a fantastic victory. You never see such matches where most of the time the match was in Pakistan’s favour and all of a sudden it came back to India. Good for the game as its what the crowd wants to see”
When asked about the former captain (Virat Kohli) proving himself. Binny said,
“Kohli didn’t have to prove himself. He is a class player and players like him thrive in pressure’s situations, pressure brings out the best of them”
Mr. Binny also highlighted and addressed the allegations that were imposed on India because of the no-ball in the last over of the India Vs. Pakistan match. Mr. Binny, also spoke about his felicitation which was the most memorable days of his at the KSCA. Look at what he said,
“Today is one of the most memorable days of mine at the KSCA as I’ve never had such a good reception by fellow members of the committee and colleagues of the KSCA. Happy to be a part of the KSCA as I’ve served it for 50 years as a cricketer, from U-19 in 1973 to the right until now and proud of being a Karnataka player”
Observing how news teams like Zimbabwe and Ireland has emerged on the surface, Binny also touched upon how one should not underestimate smaller teams but as far as concerning the game of cricket, it is a funny game where things can change within minutes for any team.
