The young pacer has a clocking speed to go more than 150 kmph and that too with exact line and length. So far in the current IPL tournament the player has been a difficulty for batter to play against and looking at this the pacer has gathered a tremendous fan following including the precious like of his own father Mr. Abdul Rashid.
Mr. Rashid is very happy with his boy’s success and wants him to play for his team and especially in the Indian jersey that is Mr. Rashid’s wish for his son. In an interesting incident shared by Mr. Rashid about his son which as a father made him extremely happy. And that is, the two titans, MS Dhoni & Virat Kohli speaking highly about his son. “Umran discussed some of those things with me. MS Dhoni is a legend of the game. Virat Kohli is also a great cricketer. Umran met both of them. They have told Umran that he is the future of Indian cricket. When Umran called me to share this with me, he was extremely happy. He was elated after listening to those golden words from the two legends of the game,”
Now imagine being a father or a son, keeping yourself in either place imagining the same. Such a golden movement for his father to hear about his son that to in such a highly manner.
The only wish Mr. Rashid has for his son is to look him a Blue Jersey, representing India and being part of the world cup.
“My only dream now is to see my son in an Indian team jersey. I want him to play in the World Cup someday. I am sure he will. He has reached this level and I am confident he will get there very soon. He will make the entire country proud,”
