Mumbai Indians have been performing poorly in this year’s IPL. Mumbai Indians have lost the match against Lucknow Super Giants. This is the 8th defeat in the IPL. For which Rohit Sharma’s emotions are not in control. Now Rohit Sharma, the captain of Mumbai Indians, can’t control his anger. Winning and losing are two of the same responsibilities. But if every player in the team doesn’t have 100% good effort and hard work, then those players should be able to take the responsibility of winning the match. And in the case of Mumbai India, no player is ready to take that responsibility. As Rohit Sharma is the captain of the team, it is not right for him to take all the responsibility alone.

Now Rohit Sharma has admitted that he has not performed. About that he says,

“We haven’t batted well enough in this tournament. Whoever plays in the middle needs to take that responsibility and go on to play long innings. Some of the opposition players have done that and that is what is hurting us. One guy needs to ensure that he bats as long as possible,” Rohit said after the match.

Rohit accepted that some shots were irresponsible.

Further,

“I thought we bowled pretty okay. It wasn’t easy. It was a good pitch to bat on. I thought that score should have been chased down, but we didn’t bat well enough. When you have a target like that, it is important to string partnerships. But some irresponsible shots in the middle, including mine,”

he added.

When he asked about the chance given to Tim David, he said,

“Everyone has come into discussion given how our tournament has gone. We need to ensure that we have a settled team and give players in the middle a fair chance.”

But when you lose games, you always have such discussions. As far as I am concerned, I want to give people enough chances to prove themselves. The season hasn’t gone the way we would have wanted it to, but such things happen,”

he concluded.

For your information, we are not glad to inform you that the Mumbai Indians, which has won the most five titles in the IPL, were knocked out of the race for the playoffs of the 15th season of the league as the team lost its eighth match in a row this season. This is the first time in IPL history that a team has lost in the first eight matches.

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians suffered a humiliating 36-run defeat at the hands of Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday. Lucknow restricted Mumbai Indians to 132 for eight with a brilliant performance by the bowlers after skipper Lokesh Rahul’s 103 not out. The captain of the team Mumbai Indians Rohit Sharma appeared very angry after this defeat. He said that no batsman is ready to take the responsibility.

Talking about the match, Rahul scored his second century in the current season with 12 fours and four sixes in his 62-ball innings. His last century (103 not out in 60 balls) also came against Mumbai on 16 April. This match was also won by the Lucknow team by 18 runs. Rahul completed the fourth century of his IPL career by hitting a six in the last over against Meredith. Kieron Pollard took two wickets for just eight runs in two overs for Mumbai. Riley Meredith also got two breakthroughs while JaspritBumrah and Daniel Sams took one wicket each.

The IPL 2022 is moving to an end and the result of the first team that is not going to be a part of the finals has in front of all. It’s a disaster for Mumbai Indians. But that’s alright to lose, after all, it’s a game, and we are sure that the team will be back next year with extra confidence and tremendous practice.
