As everybody is aware about KL Rahul and Mayank Agrawal being best friends, it will be exciting to see the two besties’ taking on each other in today’s match. There was a time when the two played for the same Punjab Kings but due to some reasons, KL Rahul parted ways with the RED and Gold franchise to pursue for much bigger aspiration.

Well, KL Rahul became the captain of the newly formed Lucknow Super Giants team whereas Mayank remaining in the PBKS team was selected as the new captain for the team. Both Indian players and skippers of their respective IPL teams are best on even field.

If you look at the IPL points table, you’ll find Lucknow Super Giants at the fourth whereas when you look on the seventh row, you’ll find Punjab Kings. Besties, but two different results. Well, it the game of cricket and can happen to anyone.

Coming back to the pros and cons from each team for today’s there is one thing which is similar in both the teams is the opening batters.

Punjab Kings has recently seen Shikhar Dhawan playing 88 runs against Chennai Super kings was a great sign for the team getting back Dhawan.

While if you look at Mayank, the player is kind of a worry for the management for his form and scoring. In the overall seven matches so far, Mayank has scored total 136 IPL runs while if we talk about his bestie, KL Rahul, he is soon going to be touching Jos Butler’s highest run total of 368 runs. However, Rahul’s partner Quinton is also in the queue but chances are highly likely for KL Rahul to achieve it first.

The great thing is, the Sri Lankan player Bhanuka Rajapaksa has got his form back and will be batting at no.3 for PBKS team while, Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone are yet to explode.

From the Lucknow Super Giants side, it is KL Rahul and Quinton De Kock as openers while Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis is yet to perform well and are going through consistency issues.

Form the bowling, the PBKS team will be best supported by Arshdeep Singh who bowled brilliantly for his team against CSK and Kagiso Rabada on the end supporting Arsh in his journey taking wickets. These are the two important bowlers who can prove crucial in the innings against the PBKS team today, held at the MCA stadium, Pune.

So, both teams are equally good and bad, and will be difficult to say which team will win the match.
