With his third consecutive win in the IPL league, Kane Williamson set up and ran the chase throughout.

We will explain to you from the beginning. The SRH team won the toss and reached the result of bowling first. Welcoming the decision, Knight Riders sent two of their riders in the form of Aaron Finch and Venkatesh Iyer. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was ready to deliver his first spell from the end of the bowling.

In the very first over, KKR’s Finch made his intentions clear that he was not going to stop, and was seen hitting a six in his very first over. But as he was thinking so, he timed a ball wrong and caught it behind the stumps. Then came skipper Shreyas Iyer himself, who tried to partner with on-field batsman Venkatesh Iyer, but luck was different as Venkatesh had to be content with just 6 runs off 12 balls. Natarajan clean bowled him.

When the entire team was seen rolling for just 31 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. After this Nitish Rana put the innings on hold and did it. He handled KKR’s position beautifully and met and hit sixes towards every corner of the boundary, making it (54 off 36).

The only player who was so successful as Nitish Rana was Andre Russell who scored 45 runs for 24 and took the match to the end with 175 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

The entire batting side did not put their full in order to set a massive total for the opposing team. They had Pat Cummins, Sheldon Jackson but as usual they didn’t play as expected but if they could do that then the run score would not be like what we see on the score board.

Now in the second innings, came out to bat were the SRH team. As the opener batsmen came Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma. Abhishek Sharma came out with optimistic approach but when he was just at 3 runs, he was bowled by Pat Cummins. Then came Rahul Tripathi accompanying his captain Kane. After coming to strike, Tripathi was seen smashing some beautiful-looking shots at the Deep Backward square leg and deep cover. Seeing this, the captain could not resist himself and was seen hitting equally like Tripathi, but while Kane looked forward to pull the shot towards Deep square leg unfortunately while doing so was cleanly bowled by the KKR bowler Andre Russel. The captain was not very much happy with this which was quite evident from his gesture.

We can say that the entire match was fully supported by Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram’s brilliant knock of 71 off 37 balls and an unbeaten 68 off 36 balls. SRH team managed to chase down a good looking total in just 17.5 overs and won the match by 7 wickets.

From the SRH’s bowling side, it was Umran Malik who took the responsibility and fetched two wickets for his team by giving only 27 runs.

This win was really necessary for the orange team, as the SRH team did not start very well in the first few matches but the way they handled the situation looked quite commendable.
