Delhi Capitals gave information on this through a tweet after the news of a team member being found corona infected came to the fore in the media on Monday. The news of a foreign player being found corona infected had come in the media.

Meanwhile, it was told in the tweet that all-rounder Mitchell Marsh of Delhi Capitals has been found positive in the test Corona. After this, he was admitted to the hospital. The medical team of Delhi Capitals is regularly monitoring Marsh’s condition.

Issuing a statement on behalf of BCCI on Monday itself, PTI was told,

“Delhi Capitals was to leave for Pune today but the entire team along with all the members had to rest in their respective hotel rooms. It has been said that following the corona protocol, the RTPCR test will be done for everyone so that it can be known whether physio Patrick’s case of the corona was alone or there are other cases in the team’s camp.

So far this season, Delhi’s performance has not been up the expectations. There was no consistency in the team’s performance after winning the first match against Mumbai. Now in 5 matches played, the team has got only 2 wins while in 3 it has to face defeat.

The match between Punjab Capital and Punjab King was scheduled to be played on April 20. The BCCI was to decide whether the match would be played today or not. But so far no news has come from the BCCI. It is predicted that what will happen next will depend on time. Because it is difficult to say now how the team will lead the match until the players who have been corona take time to recover. Since the inception of the IPL, Delhi Capitals have been struggling to win. So now that this big break has come in their toys, the IPL season has got a little disturbed.
