India’s one of the very strong bowlers Mohammed Shami is in limelight for a reason that probably may put a smile on some faces. Mohammed Shami is known for his variation in bowling and has the ability to change the face of the game any minute.
The Indian bowler was asked recently, which of the batsmen, he fears the most, and his reply was shocking. Shami said the bowler to whom he fears the most is none other than is Cheteshwar Pujara and not Virat Kohli. He said Pujara is a player that uses a very different technique due to which getting him out is kind of very hard.
When asked about Jasprit, he said Jasprit and himself are in very good relations and whenever there are any difficult times, they both support each other, however, Jasprit has a very different style, but still.
Currently, Mohammed Shami is associated with the newly formed team Gujrat Titans and will be seen in action from March 26th this year. Gujarat Titans will be led by Hardik Pandya who was formerly associated with the Mumbai Indians team. The new skipper of the new team has recently gone through a lot when it comes to fitness and will be one of the main concerns of the team this season. The main players that will be seen playing for the Gujrat Titans team will be Shubham Gill, Rashid Khan, Hardik Pandya.
Facing a major setback, the Titans lost Jason Roy. The reason for this loss is said to be the bio bubble fatigue issue which was giving challenge to the player and eventually, the player opted out of the tournament. This is not the first time any player has done such a thing. In 2021, Chris Gayle, also left the for the same reason as Jason this year.
Before IPL, Roy was seen in the Pakistan Super league playing a fantastic 303 runs innings with a strike rate of 170.22 and keeping 50.50 as average. Losing Jason Roy could be a major challenge for the team and will have a lookout for a suitable replacement quickly before the series continues.
Coming back to Mohammed Shami, the bowler was seen very open during a conversation with “The Indian Express” which was related to the trolls he keeps on facing. There was one statement by Shami that caught the most attention and proved to be slamming all the online trolls was when he said, who trolled him were neither,
“Real fans nor were they real Indians”.
“When people with unknown social media profiles or even one with a few followers point fingers at someone, they don’t have anything to lose”
For them nothing is at stake because they are nobodies…we don’t need to engage with them”
