IPL 2022: Pandya Brothers will play against each other in IPL. Krunal Pandya’s wife Pankhuri Sharma shared an emotional post

As we all are the very well-known fact that the pair of brothers Krunal and Hardik Pandya have been playing together for the same national team of India in cricket till now. But now, in the upcoming season of IPL, we will see the Pandya Brothers playing against each other as the different teams have picked the brothers.

Hardik will lead Gujarat Titans as a captain, while Krunal will be seen pushing his heels for the victory of the new franchise Lucknow Super Giants of the 15th season of IPL.

Hardik Pandya is an experienced all-rounder and his elder brother Krunal will be seen playing for different franchises in the IPL 2022. This is the first time in the history of IPL that Pandya Brothers will play against each other.

Hardik Pandya’s sister-in-law i.e. Pankhuri Sharma, wife of Krunal, has written an emotional post for both the brothers before IPL 2022 by sharing a video on social media. Hardik and Krunal have been an important part of Mumbai Indians for the last few years. Both of them have won Mumbai many times with their brilliant performance.

The Pandya brothers, who played domestic cricket for Baroda, were released from the team by Mumbai Indians ahead of the mega auction of IPL 2022. After this, Hardik has joined the new IPL franchise Gujarat Titans for Rs 15 crore. Hardik will be seen captaining Gujarat Titans. Hardik will lead a team for the first time in IPL. On the other hand, Krunal has been roped in by another new IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants. Krunal has been bought by Super Giants for Rs 8.25 crore.

Pankhuri Sharma remembers the old days when she used to cheer the Pandya brothers from the stands after reaching the stadium. Hardik’s sister-in-law is sad that this time both the brothers will not play for anyone franchise. Pankhuri has shared a video of both the brothers on her official Instagram page, in which both of them are shown playing and having fun together. An emotional song is also playing in the background of the video.

In her emotional post, Pankhuri wrote, ‘To my best boys!! For the past 6 years, I have cheered both of you from the same stand, but this time it is going to be different. It will be a bit painful to see both of you playing against each other. Hardik Pandya I will keep cheering you from another stand!! Now and always.

The 15th season of the IPL will be held from March 26. The title match will be played on May 29. A total of 70 matches will be played in the league.
