The more energetic the beginning of an event, the better the end is expected. The excitement of the IPL match and the start of the match added color to the event and the spectators were very happy.
It has been 15 days since IPL started. Now the journey of IPL is coming to an end. So now everyone is watching the IPL’s Classing Ceremony. The closing ceremony is a long technical process.
The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) on Saturday invited bids from interested parties through the tender process to conduct the closing ceremony of the ongoing IPL. (BCCI issues tender) The Board announced the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to conduct the closing ceremony. Detailed terms and conditions of the tender process are contained in this RFP including eligibility requirements, bid submission procedure, and rights. This RFP will be available after payment of Rs.1 lakh which is non-refundable.
The RFP can be purchased till April 25. “The party interested in submitting the bid is required to purchase the RFP,” the BCCI said in a release. Only those who fulfill the eligibility criteria of RFP will be eligible to bid. Let us tell you that the IPL started on 26 March and will end on 29 May.
The ceremony will happen after 4 years.
Before the 15th season, the last ceremony was held in 2018. Actually, on 14 February 2019, there was a terrorist attack on CRPF jawans in Pulwama, Jammu, and Kashmir, in which many soldiers were martyred. At that time no ceremony was organized in the honor of those martyrs in IPL. After this, Corona was knocked from 2020. Due to this, the ceremony has not been held since then due to Corona.
The last match of the IPL will be played on May 29, 2022, in Ahmedabad. The closing ceremony is expected to arrange in Ahmedabad. BCCI is working on the plan that will be implemented soon.
