Though the purpose of the league is commercial, but it becomes a huge stage for a new performance to show their talent. It is like an entry ticket for a new player to start the journey for international cricket and to represent his country.

Here are five uncapped batters to watch out for in IPL 2022:

Yash Dhull (Delhi Capitals):

We must have heard this name when the under-19 tournaments were going on. Yash Dhul was captaining the team India in that tournament and received very much attention in less time with his tremendously wonderful performances.

The India U19 winning captain is always surrounded by the fans. As he has got the huge success in Ranji Trophy.

On his first-class debut, Dhull scored centuries in both innings and the world got an idea of how the right-handed batter can handle the batting with caution with aggressively. Under the wings of Ricky Ponting, Dhull can do wonders.

Dewald Brevis (Mumbai Indians):

‘Baby ABD’ aka Dewalk Brevis has scored 506 runs in the U-19 world cup tournament. All the cricket fraternity has seen his performance and made a mark in the mind that he must be bought for the IPL. The right-handed batter fetchesRs 3 crore in the mega auction.

Rohit Sharma has already said that the player has a great potential displayed in the U-19 World Cup and has shown a trust that he would definitely be in the reckoning to qualify for the playoffs.

Rahul Tripathi (SunRisers Hyderabad):

Rahul Tripathi is a well-experienced player though he prefers to stay out of the limelight, he has played 62 matches in IPL. The 31-year old Tripathi was the leading run-scorer of the Indian cricket team.

Tripathi has managed to score 1,385 runs at an average of 26.13 but after associating with a few seasons with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the right-handed batter has a new challenge to look at forward.

In this season of IPL, SunRisers Hyderabad has captured his big-hitting quality. Along with Kane Williamson and Nicholas Pooran, Tripathi would be a perfect addition and he can give the team more than they need.

Mahipal Lomror (Royal Challengers Bangalore):

RCB bought Lomror for Rs. 95 lakhs.and the southpaw is famous for dispatching the spinners over the boundary. The left-handed batter is an all-rounder left-arm orthodox bowler.

RCB must have seen his depth of fetching wickets and planning to utilize him in the middle-order. In IPL 2021, while playing for Rajasthan Royals, Lomror scored 43 runs off just 17 balls while playing for Rajasthan Royals and the world got to see what he can do to the spinners.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (Rajasthan Royals)

Yashasvi Bhupendra Kumar Jaiswal is an Indian cricketer who plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket and in the Indian Premier League. The 20-year-old boy is the youngest cricketer in the world to score a List A double century.

Yashasvi is a left-handed batsman and has impressed almost everyone in the Under-19 World Cup tournament in 2020. It was the reason that he became the part of Rajasthan Royals. However, he did not get enough game time and for that, he has himself to blame after below-par performances.

The franchise trusted him and retained him to the team to utilize this best opportunity.

The IPL 2022 season will begin tomorrow, March 26, 2022. The first match in the season will be playing with Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders locking horns in the tournament opener at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
