The expectation is said to be the worst burden. It really is. Chennai Super Kings have done very well in the IPL since its inception. Since then, the team has become the most popular and fans are always happy when Dhoni is said to be the captain and the team is playing under his leadership.

But this year, Dhoni relinquished his captaincy and the team’s credit went to Kollam. Dhoni’s decision was a fool’s errand. Ravindra Jadeja is being criticized from all sides. Many people are saying many negative things about his captaincy.

Anyone who comes in disappointed is talking about Jadeja’s captaincy. Jadeja is indirectly blamed for the team’s poor performance.

Veterans like Ravi Shastri and Harbhajan Singh have also spoken out against the team’s captaincy and Jadeja’s performance. Many also said that Ravindra Jadeja may not be playing well due to the pressure of his card. Jadeja is the best all-rounder. Many are wondering why such a strong cricketer can fall short in a match like IPL.

So people are unhappy about the team’s performance, saying that the captaincy is the only culprit.

Whatever the case may be, at present only the captaincy of Ravindra Jadeja and the responsibility given to Jadeja by Dhoni are the two topics that are being discussed most in the case of the team.

Even so, the team is united. All the players in the team are standing behind Jadeja. Every player in the team knows that Chennai Super Kings are trailing behind in the IPL 2022 match. How can a single captain be responsible for that?

In the context of this, the former Australian cricketer and current coach of the Chennai Super Kings Michael Hussey has made clear that the making Jadeja skipper is a huge change and everyone is trying to support him as a captain of the team.

CSK has gained four losses and has placed at the last position in the points table.

Regarding this, Hussey said,

“It is a big change. MS Dhoni was the captain for a long period of time and has done a great job. But it is a good thing that he is here to guide Jadeja as it is his a first-year in IPL as a captain for Jadeja. I know that Jadeja and Dhoni are having regular conversations about captaincy and all.”

“ Everyone respects Jadeja very highly and we are coming to terms with a new captain and how he likes to go about it. But so far so good. He is doing a very good job, and I am just hoping we can get a few wins on the board very soon to hold Jadeja feel more relaxed as captain Everyone is supporting Jadeja and we are hoping for some victories very soon.”

Said Hussey.

As per the current scenario, the Hussey said,

“We should concentrate on the ball and to worry about anything else.”

Furthermore, he said,

“The important thing is, I guess, is to work with your partner at the other end. There are two verses eleven out there, two in the middle batting against eleven people, and you try and win the contest. It is one ball versus one bat and you try to win one ball at a time.”

“If you start worrying about what the pitch is doing, or what the score is, or worrying about getting out, then you are concentrating on the wrong things. All you need to do is try and concentrate on that ball coming down and see every single ball as a contest, and you try and win that contest and move on to the next contest.”

As Hussey said that winning the contest and breaking down the small parts, make you reach you reach to the top gradually.

After all the negative comments about the CSK and the captain Ravindra Jadeja, we are feeling positive to know that the person who is surrounded by so much criticism is not alone and he has his whole team to support.
