The misconception that Corona was gone was not only in the country today but in the whole world. But then now all of a sudden the corona is pulled over the head. Therefore, the question is whether the fourth wave of Corona is coming again and the current IPL 2022 has created an atmosphere of fear. Corona has not been able to enjoy the IPL to his heart’s content. Corona cases are now on the rise in the world where normal life has returned to testing normal and the entertainment sector is also doing its job.

This year’s IPL has been arranged in a bio bubble due to Corona’s fears. Many of the players have been evacuated from Bio-Bubble in case of emergency. So the fear of infection is now much higher.

Meanwhile, Corona, a player of Delhi Capitals, came out positive. It is reported that another player came in positive today. Therefore, there is an atmosphere of fear in the IPL. Yet the vaccinations have been done and the booster dose is also made available to the people to prevent the spread of the virus covid-19. Despite this, Mitchell Marsh has tested positive and his CT value is 17. Recently, the New Zealand batsman Tim Seifert has also tested positive. Along with him, the physiotherapist Patrick Farhart had tested positive.

After this, the BCCI needs to make the protocols more strict than earlier. In the context of this, BCCI secretary Mr. Jay Shah said that “The entire Delhi Capitals contingent underwent two rounds of testing. Match with Punjab Kings will go ahead as per schedule after the second round turned negative.”

On Wednesday, a BCCI source told that

“DC was supposed to travel to Pune today but the entire squad members have been told to retire to their respective rooms and as per protocol RT-PCR is being done to ascertain whether there is an outbreak in the camp or it is an isolated case like Patrick Farhart.”

All teams are staying at Conrad Hotel in Pune where BCCI has created a bio-bubble. They were supposed to travel but now it has been delayed. Obviously, all those whose results would be negative would carry on with their onward journey tomorrow

The next match of Delhi Capitals will be played against Rajasthan Royals scheduled in Pune for April 2022 which is now being shifted to the Wankhede Stadium

In the last season, the tournament had to be suspended midway due to the second wave before it could be completed in the UAE in September-October. BCCI does not want to break the tournament from the mid-way this time too. Hence they are taking the decisions related to the tournament and their whole staff including players. But it’s true that the organizers are really feeling afraid of the coronavirus.
