Many interesting matches are currently underway in IPL 2022. When the team loses in Tai, their reaction is the subject of much discussion. That is why IPL has become the most favorite and most passionate medium for cricket fans. Punjab King’s captain Mayank Agarwal has given his reaction in the recent match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals.

Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals crossed their paths in IPL on Wednesday night. In this match, Delhi defeated the Punjab team unilaterally. Delhi won the small target of 116 runs with Punjab by 9 wickets in 57 balls to spare. After this big defeat, the captain of the team Punjab Mayank Agarwal looked a little disappointed and a little angry. He clearly said that he does not want to think anything about this match.

Mayank said,

‘We have to leave this match behind because the more we consider it, the more negativity will come in the team. In such a situation, it’s a day to forget for us as it was a bad day and we will focus on the next match.

Mayank said,

‘We neither batted well nor were able to do anything in bowling. To compete on this pitch, we should have scored at least 180 runs while batting first but we fell far behind. I am not going to think much about this match now, now is the time to focus on the next match.

The Punjab team flopped on every front in the match

In this match, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first. Punjab started the batting well but as soon as the first wicket fell, after, there was a flurry of wickets one after the other. The Punjab team, full of explosive batsmen, could hang only 115 runs on the scoreboard.

In reply, Delhi achieved this target in the 11th over by losing just 1 wicket. Delhi openers Prithvi Shaw (41) and David Warner (60) kept the pressure on the Punjab bowlers by playing blazing innings.

“We didn’t bat and bowl well, we just need to move on from today. We are losing too many wickets very quickly, that is a matter of concern. We don’t have to think too much about this match, if we do that then a lot of negative things will come out. In the end, I could have bowled a few overs early for the spinners, but I didn’t,”

he added further.

The way Mayank Agrawal stated his opinion is very straightforward. Instead of celebrating the defeat why shouldn’t one concentrate on the next match?

It’s a time to prepare for the next with complete determination and aim to make it succeed with confidence.
