In the 15th edition Asia cup 2022, India vs Pakistan are all set to face each other once again after an approximate one-year halt. The rivalry between the two teams is quite evident and therefore this match is going to be equally interesting before the T20 world begins in October. India vs Pakistan is going to clash against each other on August 28th, which will part of one of the matches of Asia cup.

Interestingly, in the previous match of the T20 World cup last year, the Babar Azam led team outclassed the Virat led Indian side, that too by 10 wickets. This August the Indian team will try its level best to settle the scores.

Well, the Asia cup will be based on the shortest format which evidently indicates as a rehearsal series just before the T20 world cup in Australia, starting from 2022. Why we say rehearsal is because the last time the Asia cup was based on a T20 format was in the year 2016 and including this year, it will be the second time ever.

To conduct the series, the SLC or the Sri Lanka Cricket board have received a clear nod from the BCCI, getting started in August 21st till September 11th. Although, the exact schedule of all the matches is yet to be announced by the Asian Cricket Council.
