How to swing a cricket ball and get more wickets: Scoring high runs is the biggest achievement for every batsman. Likewise, taking the wickets is an achievement for a bowler. Bowling is a special type of skill. Batsman hit the ball thrown by the bowler and score earn numerous records on their names. This might be a reason that cricket is also known as Batsman’s game. But the bowlers also do incredible and an outstanding job on the crease when they throw the ball towards the batsman. Pace bowling is an art as it requires swinging the ball in a way so that scoring runs may get easy and the wicket should be gained by the wicketkeeper. Pace bawling refers to fast bowling that relies on the speed to get a batsman out. 

A bowler’s performance depends not only on throwing the ball but also on the ball he catches. Catching the ball is a difficult task. The ball coming in any direction has to be predicted as per the wind flows. How many stages the ball bounces and how far it can go when it hits the bat depends on the type of ball. It is said that the ball which is played with more stages can be easily guessed by the players and it gets easier to dismiss the opposing team.

1. Grip

Many things also depend on how the bowler holds the ball before throwing it. If the grip is tight, the ball is thrown in the right direction, straight and at the right distance. The speed of throwing the ball is also important to keep the distance between the batsman and the bowler.

2. Wrist position

The most important thing to throw the ball properly is the position of the wrist. The position of the wrist is determined by the type of ball. If the baby is soft, there is no need to twist the wrist, but if the ball is stiff, the wrist has a different position and a specific position that allows the ball to swing and reach the batsman. The ball angle is a concept associated with the positioning wrist to throw the ball. The left-arm bowlers must have this problem that should be resolved. 

3. The need to practice ball swing

Once you get the best grip and wrist position to throw the ball, you need to practice for the ball swing. You can discuss the pitch situation and weather conditions with the batsman.

The bowler enters the field by planning the method by which the game is to be played. We should all keep in mind that the bowler decides how to throw the ball in a scientific manner depending on how powerful the batsman is and the natural environment, the conditions of the pitch.
