Aaquib Jawed is a former Pakistani cricket player and cricket coach. He was a right-handed batsman and fast-medium-paced bowler. Currently, Jawad is being in controversy due to his unpleasant statement about the Indian Premier League.
Cricket Fans in the nation are really not liking it and trolling him badly. He compared the IPL and PSL together and praised PSL. Not only this, but he mentioned that the Indian Premier League features ‘low-quality bowling’.
Nowadays, almost every country has been organizing their domestic cricket leagues for commercial and entertainment purposes too. And every domestic tournament has its own styles and patterns to present the game.
Mr. Jawed said that Pakistan Super League is the most interesting in the world. There were never interruptions due to Covid-19 or anything else, because of the pitch issues. For instance, Lahore’s pitch is supportive for the bowlers, so you can see higher scores in Karachi,”
Further, he added, “On the other hand. If you look at IPL, there is only one type of cricket being played there due to extremely flat surfaces and low-quality bowling.”
Most Indian cricket fans did not like this statement. For this, the cricketer has to face the wrath of many. Some people have responded to this on Twitter. Some are calling him “mad” and some are just opposing him for his irrelevant statement.

Currently, Javed is the head coach of the PSL franchise Lahore Qalandar. And so he feels that PSL will rock the ground over the IPL ahead of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League, which is going to start on 27th January and will be played in Karachi and Lahore.
