He said that there are many challenges like bounce, swing and seam but the experience of the past is much better. The South African pitch and climate has always been tough. “The South African pitch has a lot of bounce and pace and you have to do your best to perform there and score runs. There are times when training sessions have gone from bad to worse,” he said. But with more experience there is confidence to come back as the best. This time they are very optimistic and can do something special and get the results we want as a team and given the circumstances.

Kohli said, “Jadeja is a very important player for us. He contributes to all three departments which is invaluable overseas and will be missed, we have quality in the team that we are able to make the best combination and still be able Win Test matches. Because we have created that bench strength and environment where the visitors are taking advantage of the opportunities, grabbing it with both hands and even making sure that the team gets May his performance help. As much as we will remember him, he won’t be the deciding factor.”
On Rohit’s absence in the team, Kohli said: “Will miss his abilities a lot. He has already proved in England that he has really worked in his Test match and the opening partnership for us to play in that series.” Obviously, with his experience and skill, we will miss those qualities.
