There’s some good news for team India as well as their fans from all over, and the news is about the Rohit Sharma being recovered from COVID virus. On Sunday it was reported that the player has been released from the isolation however, he will not be playing the warm-up match against Northamptonshire as he still needs some more time to recover. A senior BCCI official while speaking to the Media said,
“Yes, Rohit has tested negative and as per medical protocols is now out of quarantine. However, he is not playing today’s T20 warm-up game against Northamptonshire as he will need some recovery time and training ahead of the first T20I,”

The statement made is not all worrying because it is according to BCCI protocols to give rest to players after they have recovered from the COVID virus. The skipper, however will be seen leading his team in the T20I’s as well as the ODI’s against England. The schedule of those matches will be as:

Currently, the Indian team is playing its fifth test with England and is being led by Jasprit Bumrah who has become the second indian pacer to lead his team after Kapil Dev did it in 1987 for the national side.
