Everything doesn’t feel going fine for the Portuguese football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, who’s been dropped by his franchise, the Manchester United for the game on Saturday which is against the Chelsea’s.
Even in the match against Tottenham Hotspur at the Old Trafford on Wednesday it was Fred and Bruno Fernandes who were the match stars and at the same match, Cristiano wasn’t used and was made seated on the bench as substitute.
Frustrated by the event, Ronaldo left the stadium before even the final whistle was blown, and was seen walking down the tunnel.
Receiving firing from all ends, the Manchester United coach, Erik Ten Hag said, he is cognizant about the development and will deal with it right after the match.
How was the cognizance of the incident taken full care off?
By dropping the footballer from the first team squad against Chelsea on Saturday and by letting the entire squad remain the same.
What was then, Ronaldo with 455 million followers on Instagram, wrote on his Instagram stating,
“I started very young, the older and most experienced players’ examples were always very important to me. Therefore, later on, I’ve always tried to set the example myself for the youngsters that grew in all the teams that I’ve represented. Unfortunately that’s not always possible and sometimes the heat of the moment gets the best of us.
“Right now, I just feel that I have to keep working hard in Carrington, support my teammates and be ready for everything in any given game. Giving in to the pressure is not an option. It never was. This is Manchester United, and united we must stand. Soon we’ll be together again.”
The point here to notice was when he said,
“the heat of the moment gets the best of us”
What he said so, and what his intention in the upcoming matches, is only Ronaldo himself can explain but what we understand from this gesture, is obviously going to be the best.
But the news reports such as the DailyThe Mirror claimed that Ronaldo, just because of his actions, was banned for the first team training i.e., for the next three days until the match against Chelsea takes place, and was fined hefty for a whopping 1 million Euros.
