After Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan’s demotivating remarks for his team that they haven’t comes to win the World Cup but India has” is making rounds on the internet from the time it was said. But in return to the statement made, the veteran Rahul Dravid, gauging the depth of is being said, replied shrewdly saying,

“I think this format and this World Cup has really shown us that honestly you can’t take any team lightly”

Look at what Shakib Al Hasan said and what did Rahul exact remarks were on the same.

“We haven’t come here to win the World Cup, but India have. If we win tomorrow, it will be an upset victory. India are favourites tomorrow,”

In response to which Dravid replied,

“I think we respect them a lot. I think they’re a very good team. I think this format and this World Cup has really shown us that honestly you can’t take any team lightly. Ireland showed that against England. We’ve seen enough games in this competition,”

“I think the fact that it is already such a short format. 20 overs is such a short format of the game. The margins of victory and defeat sometimes even if they’re 12 runs, 15 runs, it’s actually just two hits. It’s two hits one way or the other, and actually that’s the game. So it is already a shortened sort of rushed, noisy format, but it’s very difficult to sometimes say who’s a clear favorite in some of these games.”

Now only this Dravid also stated the playing conditions such as the bigger boundaries and so has made the tournament more interesting and unexpected. He said hitting big shots in the subcontinent isn’t happening easily.

As per current updates, Indian while batting first have scored a good 184 run innings with Virat Kohli scoring 64 being not off 44 deliveries.

Whereas Bangladesh with no loss of wickets has scored 66 runs and counting.
