The election of the office bearers especially in the west region is underway, and to make it come into action, an annual general meeting has been called by the BCCI, scheduled at October 18th this year which is just during the T20 world cup.

For the same, BCCI is expected to advertise for the positions in the coming days, and also a formal interview procedure will be carried out to get the right candidate in place.

Amongst all the speculation, the chairman’s place despite of many dissatisfied voices within BCCI is in a safe position and leaves no room for any changes. So, the situation leaves no choice better than Jay Shah himself to be the favorite face for the president after Saurav Ganguly.

If Jay Shah becomes the president, he will also become the youngest president ever to rule the chair of the BCCI. But why Jay Shah? Because vice president Rajiv Shukla has shown no indication of leaving his position for one more year, but there is surely a place of a joint secretarial position according to news, the current chief treasurer Arun Kumar Dhumal will be taking care, whereas the leftover position by Dhumal, Anirudh Chaudhary the former treasurer will be taking it back again.

News speculation also says that if Chaudhary is not running for treasurer position, he will surely be running for the secretarial position.

All speculation indicates only one thing and that is to wait and watch!!
