The game of cricket is as difficult for the players as it is easy for the spectators. We spectators can only enjoy the game. But the seriousness of it is understood only by those who play it and those who understand the game. Each game has its own set of rules. The rules apply to all players. But when this rule is violated, the player gets some punishment.

There can be any reason for breaking the rules or even the rules can sometimes be broken inadvertently.

Along with IPL, many other matches are currently being played in cricket. The match between South Africa and Bangladesh has been marred by a breach of rules. Let us know in detail about that.

Bangladesh pacer Khalid Ahmed threw the ball to

in the 95th over in the first inning for no reason. He broke Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second day of the second Test against South Africa at St George’s Park in Gqeberha.

As a punishment, 15 percent of the fee he has taken from the ICC has been deducted.

Throwing the ball at someone is like breaking the rules; if the ball hits someone seriously, the consequences will be catastrophic.

Ahmed was found guilty under Article 2.9 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players. It’s a law that relates to throwing a ball at or near a Player, Umpire, Match Referee, or any third person in an inappropriate or dangerous manner during an International Match.

Now it’s a negative point that has been added to Ahmed’s record.

The incident happened with Verreynne when Ahmed threw a ball toward him in an inappropriate and dangerous manner, hitting him on the right glove.

The time comes when the charges have to file against Ahmed, he admitted the offence and also accepted the proposal sanctioned by Andy Pycroft. Hence, the situation was very clear and there was no need for a formal hearing.

Marais Erasmus and Allahudien Paleker, third umpire Adrian Holdstock and fourth official BonganiJelewere the On-field umpires who ensures the incidence and file the charges of Level 1 that carry a penalty as a punishment.

In the context of the series, Bangladesh lost the second and final Test of the series by 332 runs. The team also lost the two-match Test series 0-2 Khaled Ahmed was one of the best bowlers of the tour for Bangladesh who caught eight wickets after deliveries 77 overs.
