The former Indian cricketer, Ajay Jadeja, brings something unique by beautifully collaging events from the past. The conversation was in reference to the ruling out of Jasprit Bumrah, from the T20 World Cupi.e., starting from October 16th this year.

Ajay Jadeja recalled the incident from the world cup in 1992, where, Waqar Younis was the bowler, then, as today is Jasprit Bumrah of today. Look at what he said while speaking the sports news channel CricBuzz,

“30 years ago, there was another World Cup in Australia in 1992. The team that won the World Cup had a similar thing happening to them. In that period, a man called Waqar Younis was the finest bowler in that format, just like Bumrah. He was a very attacking bowler. He missed out on the World Cup just before that with a back injury, very similar to Bumrah. But at the end of the day, Pakistan happened to win the World Cup,”

Astonishingly, the incident is quite similar to what the Indian squad is facing in the form of Jasprit Bumrah but Jadeja keeping his part of optimism added,

“I’m hoping that happens to India as well. 30 years later, back to Australia. Last time it was our neighbors, this time, it might come to us,”

The Indian team has headed to Australia, of which BCCI has recently posted a picture on their official Twitter handle.
